northwest tennessee | My feeling is cattle will be much higher come spring. I need a bull for next year but went to a bull sale last saturday and bought one because he can get adjusted by the time I really need him plus I feel prices will be much higher for bulls in the spring. There have been a world of bulls and cows sold here this year and are still being sold because of the good kill prices like was stated up above. We are short on cattle numbers already and this is really going to have an effect on them. Plus cattleman are always optimistic when the weather breaks and grass starts to green up. They like to buy at the high and sell at the low. | |
