Driftless SW Wisconsin | I think they will thin down a bit as we get into winter and they have to rely on hay only as the last of the grazing gets used or covered with snow. I want them in good condition now, about mid 2nd trimester. I think the interseeded red clover in the forage mix is what is giving them condition this year. The red clover has held up well through the fall. Just now are they finishing it up.
