New Mexico | North country gonna see some $1,500 to $2,200 bred cows in 011.
SW ranch country, Cowboy cows are headed to the $1,000 to $1,500 range.
Only outfit I know of with some decent strings of reasonable priced cows left now is this one. ( and only 1,400 head of those left too ).
Feeder deal and cow deal getting tighter by the day now.
Figure on record up moves in traditional fats each of the next 2 weeks.
Times gettin good, action creates more action.
Fact is, I figure it'll be good forever now.
Since everyone is contracted out of their wheat yearlings in the $112 to$114 range for spring...my bet is those 850 weights then will in the $135 range.
