Driftless SW Wisconsin

Here are a couple pictures from this afternoon of what most would call "feeders". These are in my weaning pasture. The two pictured had 205 day adj weaning weights of 647 and 621 lb. They have had double vac, poured and are about weaned. These two are 246 and 248 days old as pictured. They are not sick Herefords.

Unfortunately, they probably would be docked at many sales because they are not black hided. Doesn't matter to me because these are not going to any sale. fwiw.

These WILL go to corn in early January and the processor in late April. Actual weights on 11/15 (weaning and workup) were 728 and 694 lbs. I hope to get them to 1050 or 1100 lb by Processing time.  With 150 days (from weaning) good hay and about 100 days of grazing standing unharvested corn I think I can get there this year.
