You may be right for heavy use.

However in my use I have found the screenings pack down almost as tight as concrete after awhile but still have a bit more footing in wet/icy weather than the concrete I use in another area.

In the photos I had just added a fresh loader bucket of screenings since the original screenings had sunk/compacted since I built this ramp 2 years ago. I dont see them carrying a significant portion of the screenings onto my trailer once they get packed down.
