Then heirs charge high cash rent and us then 30 something farmers will have to have a good banker or find something else to do What do you mean "when"? It's all but impossible to get anything rented let alone bought right now. I'm sure we young guys will get our chance. It's all about being ready. I would really love to capture some low interest rates right now, especially through the FSA, but if you can't make it cash flow no deal. Maybe if commodity prices settle again, and more long term, things will level off.
