It's a little more complicated -you need elevation to get it on the ship means you have to purchase 'fobbing' & In & Out elevator charges & need a freight forwarder and insurance and cargo services to trim & stow & bond. These items add up & is why export elevation is occasionally worth ownership. Export Grain merchants are not set up to deal with producers, normally, as most do not understand the process & etc. He who owns the facility & he who has the sales contracts runs the show.
