You are correct about needing bear's in an up market.  Emotions get in the way when making decisions.  The herd mentality seems to prevail.  Am starting to hear the same type of comments now that we had in the last big run up a couple of years ago. 

I too hate to see prices get too high.  Inputs go up and demand falls.  We wind up losing in the long run from this type of market activity.
