So the question is, can you erase the balance of trade deficit by exporting enough expensive raw agricultural products to match the imported manufactured goods?  I'm not sure why anyone would be excited to be exporting raw feed to let them value add, instead of feeding the livestock here, and exporting protein, instead of jobs.  If the Chinese can afford to feed livestock at these prices, then it must be even more profitable to feed them here, and only export the finished product.
