Central Illinois | but at the end of the day, landowners are the one that make the money. Yes, I know land is supposed to get the residual value, but the world seems to be going nuts here.
I have several landowners or managers that know what others are getting, and it's pretty much a take it or leave it deal. The newcomers like IFF are toast, so that will help some, but the really sharp big operators have been buying land for years, and are very well heeled. Ten or twenty thousand owned acres with average debt of 1 to 2 thousand is a hell of a base.
