| I usually don't answer Tara Farms because I think he is one of the most pessimistic and argumentative posters on this site. But... I am going to reply to this one. We farm right in the heart of what you and I believe Markwright are claiming to be an area of great corn. Guess what? It's not. (Around 20 % under average).
I don't get how people who are not from Illinois can talk about how good Illinois crops are. I don't preach about the condition of your crop. The nation is used to Illinois bringing in many areas of 200+ bpa corn. This has consistently bumped up the national average.
Tara - You were talking doom and gloom back when corn was around $3.50. Now we sit over a dollar higher and you start ranting about how good Illinois corn is. Feel free to come by and ride a few rounds so you can see that it just isn't that great. | |
