Boone/Hendricks Counties, IN | Here is a good booklet on rotational grazing that may be helpful.... http://www.ces.purdue.edu/extmedia/AY/ay-328.pdf it has been most helpful for me. I did cut mine after grazing where i started some paddocks, the old abandoned pasture I rented was not divided and had lots of weeds. mowing the first time after grazing that pasture helped a lot this year. As said in the future it should not be necessary once you get a good rotation down, but it helped control weeds. I took a few paddocks out already and ran a chain harrow over them to beat up the manure and then seeded some pasture mix into it to thicken it up next year. Good luck, a good rotational grazing plan pays off in more cattle and nicer pasture.
