near dyersville iowa | ok, i am far from an expert on this matter, but here is my opinion(and just my opinion). If you are just starting out with rotational grazing, a mower is a good tool to have. One of the tenets of grazing is that, in time, the quality of the forage will improve, as the undesirable weeds will get less. However, it may help you to get to that point quicker if you have a mower to cut off the weeds for the first year or two, especially if you dont want to use herbicides. | |
