Saronville NE | I like the curb idea, we just didnt take the time or money to do it. Make your apron as wide as you can afford, the wider the better. We went 16ft. 75% of your manure will end up on the apron, so the wider it is the more will end up there easier to clean, easier to get on with ldr tractor. Ours works great when cleaning, I park our NH195 spreader flat against the gate at end of apron and can clean the whole apron with never opening the gate, wide enuff to load the whole spreader off cement. When the apron gets a little deep, I have taken over 4 heaping spreader loads off just the apron, I try to clean it once a month, actually just cleaned it again yesterday, but piled it in the lot, nowhere to spread the manure right now. | |
