Western Nebraska | I hope you have a good ISP. Our wireless provider is pretty crummy because for now they are the only game in town. Our local cell provider is in the process of upgrading the towers to EV signal and they claim when that is done they will be able to provide internet through any cell phone tethered to the computer. The speeds they claim are comparable or better than what we are getting now. We are supposed to be getting 348kb/s but the network is overloaded so it is quite often less than 100. Alltel claims that they can reach speeds from 400-700kb/s through the cell phone. If we can do that the local wireless provider is going to get the boot.
