S.E. Virginia | Had an interesting morning. The wife and I went out to band a dozen of the most recent calves. The cows and usually most of the calves, all come to the call each morning to get a bit of grain in the barn lot. Well this morning all the calves and 2 cows decided to stay outside the open gate. Well we went out to coax them into the barn lot. One of the cows decided to follow her calf who had decided to bolt to the woods and don"t you know the other cow and calves did the same!!!!!!!!! We'll try again tomorrow! | |
