We cut our calves at 24 hrs old and implant with ralgro. Might not be the best. Every now and then we have one slip thru the cracks and looks a little bigger at around 600# but doesn't grow at all for two weeks when we cut them then. At the sale barn our calves look as nice and sell as well as any so we will keep doing what has worked for us many years.
