Central Nebraska | Hey all,
First post on here but have enjoyed reading a lot of interesting items and topics. Just wanted to get a feel what everyone thinks about banding or cutting for castrating calves. Obviously have heard pro's and con's for both. Along with method, what about timing? Have heard of guys cutting them from as late as a couple weeks before weaning all the way to banding them as early as the day they are born.
I'd be interested in hearing what others are doing and why you are doing it that way.
