I've got about the same situation. The exception is that my high speed first comes into the shop and then sent wireless to house (~350ft away clearshot). I first tried using a just a Netgrear Next router and laptop and either couldn't get high speed in the house or the signal was so poor and inconsistant to work. I then checked around and added a Linksys Range Expander in by the window in the house and have had good luck.
Can we do this over again.....wireless router distance?
