I'm not sure we've covered this before, but here's what I want to do.

I have a wireless router in the house to serve a desktop computer & a laptop. BUT-I'd like to be able to take laptop out to the shop which is about 300' from the house. The shop is in direct line w/house (no trees/buildings), however it is a metal-clad building (steel). I've tried the laptop already in shop just using wireless router in house...but when I get within about 50' of shop...signal gets close to dying.

So...specifically what device(s) will get a signal from the wireless router in the house clear out to the shop so that I can use a WiFi laptop INSIDE the shop? I don't want to connect wire to laptop at all & still get a 5x5 signal.

Is this possible?
