Hamburger patties cost quite a bit, but to me they are worth it. I had half of the burger put in 2lb bulk pkgs and half put into burgers in cyrovac plastic. Put 3 of the 1/3 lb burgers in each pkg, seperated by freezer paper. That cost 65 cents/lb on top of the regular processing.

Processing for 956 lbs of hanging weight was 60 cents/lb. With $50 butcher charge, $20 "over 30 months surcharge" 80 cents for brand inspection, $3 for giblet processing and a $10 "animal disposal fee" the total charges came to $762.98 Not cheap by any means.
