western NY | I don't want to remember it. Was in high school still but remember combining wheat in standing water and using two tractors on the baler to get straw baled where we could go. Corn was late and wet, grandpa always had short season corn back then and it was still almost 30% in November. Kidney beans made about 7bu and were a nightmare to pull. I think we were still cutting oats when I went back to school in September. Don't think it ever got over 70 all summer.
