Subject: RE: Remember 1992?

North East Wimmera district of Victoria.

1992 was the wettest year on record [going back only to 1880's!] down under in Victoria, Australia.

If the "cooling" was down here, I would not trust the Bureau of Meteorology to tell anyone about it anyway!

We had a very mild Summer, but not a word from the BoM.

I think I have told the story on NAT of during my Council days, a research scientist  using what could only be described as selective data to "Prove" that Climate change was causing decreasing rainfall in Australia. She used figures from 1957 to 2007, whereas official BoM figures for the preceding 10 years  - if included - would have blown her case out of the water.

I have a nasty suspicious mind. There are megabucks for those involved in promoting global warming -  ooops - climate change!
