I live 10 miles South of Elizabethtown, KY, life was good until Ferd started building their mega battery plant.
If I was 55 instead of 75 I would try to sell out and move if I could find a like amount of land to purchase. If
Don & Ron , a lot of towns/cities want these new plants for tax base / employment but it really diminisheds the quality of life for those in the area. Real estate prices soar. Traffic is terrible . Farmers lose land to farm ,ect.
Ontario is subsidizing some big battery plants ,we already have labour & housing shortage and losing 319 acres of farmland everyday to housing,roads,industry,ect.
