| Hello all,
My wife and I have recently been contemplating packing our things and making a major move to a different area of the country. We’re in our late 20s but don’t have children yet so if we’re ever going to do something like this now’s our chance.
My wife is basically estranged from her family and I have no real attachment to the area we currently live so I don’t think a move would be a problem for us however we aren’t sure where to go other than we would like it to be warmer and greener.
On a whim I was browsing listings throughout rural Kentucky and Tennessee and I was able to find many properties with 30-40 acres and 2000+ sq ft houses that are well within our budget.
So that begs the question, what is life like in Kentucky and Tennessee? Where are the good small town communities that we could become a part of for the rest of our lives? Is there opportunity for young people that like working hard and take pride in the things they do? | |
