I sell to my insured level by mid July. If not early July. So let’s call that 75-80%.
If I get some more rains on the dryland after that I sell some more before harvest.
Usually gets me pretty close to not have to set futures on much going into the bin, but if I have more than expected I hedge some more if needed to get me down to that 5-10% gambling number.
