Why can't you use these same tools for grain in the bin?
You have basically admitted that you are lazy marketing the farm stored bushels. I don't mean that as an insult but that is a sure way to not do a good job. I think it is very common.

The majority of farmers I know seem to use their bins as a source of relieving harvest pressure and cheaper storage than the coop. That is fine.
The real value of bins is tying your grain merchandising to them. Open a hedge account and learn how to use it.
