I can’t believe the people who think they are so entitled to not do their job but still collect a paycheck! When my daughter she was 10 days old when I left to head south combining wheat, another guy that helped us his daughter was born 3 days after mine and he left the same day as me. Today both of our girls are 16 and we couldn’t ask any more from either other them to be better teenagers. Anybody who says they need to take 2 months to create a father bond has been brainwashed in our snowflake world. It’s better to teach by example and work to support your family.
Personally I would find a different occupation then leave my 10 day old kid for 2 months.
I spent 5 years in the navy, decided I would never have kids while I was in.
Let the guy take off what he is legally entitled to, and expect him to do his job when he returns. No need to hire an assistant. |
