If you can afford the boat, you can afford the gas. RE taxes proportionally have been too cheap for years. A $120,000 home in town should not be taxed more than a 1.6million dollar 80 acres.
Then defund the "Town" Government.
The reason the "Town" home pays higher is because the owner pays the "County Rate" and then the "Town/City rate" or at least that is how it is around here. Also, that 120,000 home is going to have a higher infrastructure/expense burden than a back 80.
