If you can afford the boat, you can afford the gas. RE taxes proportionally have been too cheap for years. A $120,000 home in town should not be taxed more than a 1.6million dollar 80 acres.
In Nebraska, it isn't.
The problem falls in that the house taxes don't go down so much as land taxes go up. That is why we have ground that is taxed at $100 an acre. |
