NW Iowa | I had a torn meniscus fixed once. The surgeon told me at the time the knee needs to be replaced but he wanted to get five years out of the knee before he replaced it. Five years later the knee was indeed replaced so he was right. The meniscus tore when I was picking rocks The knee was slightly sore that morning but nothing to write home about, then all of a sudden BANG. Just by luck it tore when I was climbing back onto the small tractor I was using. It hurt like he!! but at least I could drive myself home. I sat on the tractor till my wife could find the crutches to bring out to me. Next day I was out walking beans using a crutch. It didn't work out well, had to have my wife come get me. | |
