SW OH | I agree. I used to haul logs many years ago. The guy that cut most of them was known as "dollar Dillon". He would give the land owner $1 with a signed contract to pay the landowner for the value of the wood less expenses after completion. In the end he would tell the landowner the wood wasn't as good as he thought it would be. I broke even on the wood versus my cost, so the dollar is all you get. But the good news is in 20 years you will have some high dollar timber since we removed all the old growth to make room for the new. In reality it looked like a tornado went through.
