Glasgow, Ky | In the area I lived in that was not the case. In one instance I personally knew of, a farmer was in financial trouble. FCS tried to work with him but he said he was going to auction the farm off and be done with it. Farm brought about 1/2 of what he paid for it.
I never knew of any farms in my area being foreclosed on under the circumstances you gave. Of course I didn't know all the facts for each foreclosure. Typically, according to the farmers involved, it was always the lender who was at fault. Without knowing the details we can't know the truth. | |
