Northern Illinois | I believe that the crop is legally still the previous tenants. The tenant still has a reasonable amount of time to get his crop out. Everyone can argue as to what reasonable time is but if you do something it may end up with the court deciding what a reasonable amount of time is. I think your best option is to work with the previous tenant. Do not just go in and harvest the crop thinking it is now yours. | |
