iowa | Example: New renter maned up and harvested a crop he did not own and took it to market. The landowner who had a contract with the first tenant did not go to court to assume the vacated property.
The crop in the field had a lien against it. The new tenant broke the law and basically stole the crop. The bank that had the lien on the crop sues and receives 100% of the harvested crop.
The previous tenant is granted extra time to make sure his crop that was stolen was not hastily harvested in an improper manner. He might sue.
Now the new tenant who paid all the rent March 1st is pissed because he is out harvest cost and cannot plant in a timely fashion because of court delays. The landowner evicts his ash ASAP because he doesn't like all this drama. And the tenant and landowner are both getting sued.
What a mess! | |
