Many years ago we had a wet late fall and couldn't get rid of corn. The far I was renting sold. The new owner made it clear he wanted it off claiming he wanted to plant oats. He was Ok when I told him we would get it as soon as we wouldn't rut the ground up. I am still thankful for that.
