20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana | Hospital probably paid a big premium for the land being exactly where they wanted it. I’d guess most other land nearby is bringing 2/3 or so of that hospital price. We had a situation in the same county I live in where we heard a family got $100,000 an acre for a small Hospital land. But most else is bringing 50-60,000 nearby.
I woundlt count on the hospital type money but I think in your situation I’d hold out for the opportunity to 1031 for more land later. We have some families that are crazy wealthy here because there for fathers settled in an area, but also are smart about it. These guys are smart and in the know. They have made many generations wealthy because of their patience and time invested. |
