Douglass tells the tale on woven wire. Build good corners. I'm in "hedge country",cleared a few hundred acres last year, and won't use that mess if you gave it to me. Learn to use real steel for your corners. Big stuff over 4" and put it in under your frost line. I don't even have a frost line here but have a drought line. 7 wire barb will hold them back.
