r82230 - 1/31/2024 14:33 Woven wire, with a strand of barb on top, was our gold standard fence. A lot of t-posts in between the wood end posts. Only additional wood post would be in a low spot, where the fence could pull the t-posts out. We didn't have access to oil stem that I knew of for end/line post.



I wouldnt use woven wire if you gave it to me. Ive dealt with too much of the old woven and 2 barbed fence that if I never see woven wire again itll be too soon. 

I vote for 4 barb and 2 hot wires inside, even if its just a good solar fencer. But use smooth Red brand wire for the hotwire. Been using this system on our feedyard for years and no problems. The hotwire keeps them honest and the barb keeps them in if the hotwire shorts or something
