Not long enough.
Use hedge. Period. Paragraph.
If you have to travel to get some, travel to get some. If you can't find hedge, using steel pipe would be my second choice. If you use creosote, you'll be rebuilding it some day.
"Here" normal fence consists of hedge corners and seconds with 3-4 T posts between hedge line posts. 5-6 strands of barbed wire. It'll outlast you.
