All of our early harvested corn either for silage or grain gets planted in a rye/crimson clover cover crop. We then bale all of it as baleage, spread manure and plant corn/soybeans back into it. It's always a rush to get all of it done fast enough to get crop planted back in but it's worked well for us. It makes great feed.
