| Depends on what you’re feeding? Higher forage diet is going to grow more frame in a steer than high corn. Especially any animal with dairy genes, maybe not as much in a good beef steer.
For actual beef breed, may work better in a grower ration but I would think when it’s time to finish them you would want higher starch. Unless your going for a grass fed market, in which case they’ll be able to legally purchase alcohol by the time they’re finished. | |
