Near-north Ontario, French River | No the parents, if they intend for the kids to take over eventually, need to know when to step back and let the younger guys take on some responsibility and enjoy some of the rewards. I know an older guy like that, he's in his 70's now, and still rules over his son with an iron fist. Im sure the younger guy ( well not young, he'd be late 40s now) could really improve things but pops won't change a thing. The son is at a point now, where he can't really start over from scratch,, so its either deal with his dad as he is, or leave ag and start over at 45-ish... tough spot to be in. |
