I know it’s difficult to do but you said you’re together 365 days of the year? Start taking a couple days a week off. He knows how to contact you on those two days if he needs to. Once you master that take a vacation. He’ll learn more when you step aside than when you’re looking over his shoulder. Knowing he can always call you is good enough for him
