Western Oregon | Stir fry, with a little very thin sliced meat, lots of fresh vegetables from the garden. I could make it for a month and every day is different. Plate and add a touch of sauce, mandarin is a favorite. Takes 3 minutes
Spaghetti, pasta, fresh tomatoes, fresh herb, onion and ground elk. Boil the pasta, brown the meat with the onion and add the rest, pasta last, simmer 10 minutes.
Chili, can of "chili beans", fresh tomatoes, ground elk, herb, onion and chili powder. Cooked the same just add "beans" instead of pasta, chili powder last.
Fresh salmon, trout or steelhead grilled with alder or fruit wood. Wild cherry, prune or apple are favorites.
