I have thought about this for a while and really could not come up with a favorite food. But I will turn the thought around to something similar. What if I was told I could select one dish but that dish would be what I would have to eat every day for the rest of my life with no other selections. In other words no variety, only that one dish.

My selection would be three quarter pound patties or two half pound of good quality fatty hamburger (80-20), cooked medium to medium well with three slices of high quality aged cheese, a generous amount of bacon added with an over medium egg on top of it all. Salt and pepper to taste with some mustard on the side. Onion. tomato and lettuce on the side would be fine. Throw away the bun. Oh, wait a minute. I eat this pretty regularly at the "Farm to Market" store at McCune, Kansas. I do get a side of cottage cheese with it though. I like ribeye and other steaks, but if I had to eat it every day with no variety hamburger would be my choice.

I'm just a hamburger kind of guy.
