NCKS | I've a couple young kids and hope to have a couple more. I figure it's time to start thinking about a college fund (or first house down payment fund if they don't go to college). I'm not going to directly give them anything. I want them to work for it as much as they can and maybe subsidize it? Curious what other people have done? My parents when my brothers and I were little would have us take care of the orphan bucket calves and would sell them in our name and held it in CDs until we graduated high school then it was our money. I've got a nice barn and some lots at my place and really have access to about anything and would build/buy whatever I didn't. I want them all to be interested and come back to the farm so id like it to be farm related. First thing that jumped into my mind was fatten out goats, but idk anything about them lol
