I don't have a dog in this fight, but it seems like you are really grabbing at straws with this. Who cares how far cobalt goes in fuel refining?.
If cobalt is the most finite of the various elements involved for either method of transportation energy transport, it seems prudent to consider what method makes the best use of it.
Are these numbers right for cobalt ?
