That is how commercial real estate has worked unlike a farm that you hope to pay off and live off of rents. So two issues that are throwing a wrench is occupancy which is still biggest culprit as that forced owners to seek lower and lower interest rates which when they should have locked in a long term rate, they went for short term because cash flow was still negative.
