thanks for all the helpful replies. i was way more informed this time, and it went much better. wife and i got a good chuckle from the typo too. we ended up at slumberland with a very knowageable and helpful salesman. got the firm simmons beautyrest galen park that has a thin latex layer in it. also got the low profile foundation. that will be helpful for my 5' wife to get in and out. height is same as footboard, so looks good that way also. mattress was 1200 in store. went home to think it over and do more research. i found it for 1000 on their website. called them up, and they offered us the website price with salesman still getting the sale.
my wife is really excited about this as this is the first new bedroom furniture we had. she can't wait to try it out.
